Styled Off the Stoop: Sweet Home Chicago! Five Andersonville Shops to Buy From This Holiday Season.
It’s no secret that traveling has been low-key canceled this year. Instead, I have taken the initiative to do more exploring within my beloved Chicago. Chicago has a whopping 77 community areas that each can contain numerous neighborhoods, so the city offers up a lot to see. This past weekend, my partner and I decided to retire our sweatpants for a day, and went holiday gift shopping. Wanting to shop local and small, we spent our time in the Andersonville neighborhood. These are the stores that we loved, that are great places to find the perfect gifts for your holiday shopping list.
You can check out AlleyCat Comics here.
You can check out Buffalo Exchange (Chicago) here.
You can check out Transit Tees here.
You can check out Jameson Loves Danger here.
You can check out the Anderson Galleria here.
Although we were unable to see every store within Andersonville, the few that we visited showcased how amazing our local small businesses are. Honestly, this day of exploring was what our souls needed. Our Andersonville trip gave us a sense of normalcy in what has been an abnormal year. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Andersonville, and we were able to buy so many gifts for ourselves and the loved ones on our gift lists!
